Raw materials and supplies for the manufacture of ball bearing units (BFUs)

The raw materials used in the production program of REEL MAKINA’s slewing devices are imported:

seamless rings/billets (45CrMo4 steel) from such European manufacturers as ROTHE ERDE (Germany) or IRE-OMBA S.p.a. (Italy) as agreed with the Customer. If necessary, REEL MAKINA uses other special steels in the production of rolling elements depending on the application and in agreement with the Customer.

Rolling elements are made of 100Cr6 steel made in Italy.

The standard seal material is nitrile. However, neoprene or Viton seals can also be selected depending on the specific application.
