RKB bearings for traditional energy

RKB’s Mexican partner and distributor, DICAVI DE MEXICO, has once again won the main part of the tender from CFE (Comisión Federal de Electricidad) for the José López Portillo power plant located in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, in northern Mexico.

The bearings supplied are used in the gearboxes of coal pulverizers and include large-sized spherical roller bearings (23088) and medium-sized tapered roller bearings (32226, 32214).

Over the past seven years, DICAVI DE MEXICO has won the majority of tenders for the two coal-based power plants located in Piedras Negras: José López Portillo and Carbón II.

With 70 power plants across the country, CFE is the largest energy producer in Mexico. As a state-owned company, all CFE tenders are conducted in an open and transparent manner.
