Toroidal roller bearings

GIB toroidal roller bearings (TORB) are single row pure radial bearings. All roller bearings with thin symmetrical barrel-shaped rollers, properly profiled to ensure uniform stress distribution as well as proper roller/raceway contact. This correct distribution of pressure over the entire roller profile allows the rolling friction and operating temperature to be controlled, keeping them at minimum values. Following the lubrication layer, the clearance remains stable and the aging process of the lubricant is reduced, increasing the reliability of the application according to the internal plan. GIB TORB bearings are designed to be installed as floating bearings as they may encounter thermal expansion along the shaft.
